About this site

GoldCopyGuide is an independent guide. It is not operated by Tag Markets, CopyX, Sonic/SonicExperts, or any affiliated company. We don’t hold or operate your trading account — for anything about your funds or trading activity, Tag Markets’ and Sonic’s own official channels are the right place to ask. This guide is published under the GoldCopyGuide name and is written from firsthand use of the account setup, including the community-token step. It is not a claim of independent performance verification.

Affiliate disclosure

GoldCopyGuide participates in Tag Markets’ affiliate program. If you register through the links on this site, we may earn a commission. This is standard industry practice, does not change the price, fees, or terms you receive, and does not make our description of the product economically neutral — weigh that when reading anything here.

Regulatory notice

Tag Markets states that it is operated by T.M. Financials Ltd, based in Mauritius (company number C185265), and regulated by the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius under licence GB21026474. Tag Markets states it is not authorised or regulated by any EU authority — EU investor-protection frameworks and compensation schemes do not apply to funds held there. Read the provider’s current statement ↗. Check whether services are available in your country before opening an account.

On 14 September 2026 we searched the FSC’s public register by name and found one matching entry: T.M. Financials Ltd, registered 28 March 2024, licence type SEC-2.1B Investment Dealer (Full Service Dealer excluding Underwriting), with no annotations against it. The register entry displays no licence number and no website, so the number above and the link between that entity and tagmarkets.com remain Tag Markets’ own statements rather than register facts. See the capture and what it does and does not prove.

Insurance

Tag Markets states it carries insolvency insurance of up to $1,000,000 for its customers, covering balances and open positions if T.M. Financials Ltd becomes insolvent. Partner material dated 7 September 2026 attributes the cover to Lloyd’s of London and offers a certificate; we reproduce that attribution as the provider’s claim and have not inspected the policy.

What it is not. The provider’s wording is “for all claimants” — an aggregate pool shared across every customer, not a per-customer guarantee, so the headline figure is not the amount attached to your account. It is triggered only by insolvency of the operating entity. It is not deposit protection, and it is not a statutory compensation scheme: there is no equivalent here of the EU or UK schemes that pay out per depositor, and — as set out under Regulatory notice — those schemes do not apply to funds held with Tag Markets. Above all, it does not cover trading losses, drawdown or liquidation, which are the ways money is actually lost in an amplified copy-trading account. An insurance line does not make a leveraged account safe.

Risk disclosure

  • CFD and leveraged trading carries a high risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. You can lose some or all of your deposited capital.
  • Copy trading does not remove this risk. Your execution and results can differ from the strategy you’re copying, and past performance does not predict future results.
  • Amplified accounts, including the 24x tier described on our Amplify & 24x page, scale potential losses along with trading capacity. Confirm current terms with Tag Markets before opting in.
  • Nothing on this site is financial, investment, or legal advice. It’s a walkthrough written by an affiliate — make your own decision, and consider independent advice if you need it.

Corrections and updates

Found an error? Send a correction with the page and source. We review changing terms against provider sources and date each update.

14 September 2026: retrieved the FSC register entry firsthand and published the capture, together with what it does not show — no licence number and no website on the record. Published the 5% drawdown limit that a community token sets, and the contradictory 10% note on the same dialog. Added the 22-month return series as supplied by a partner presentation, with its provenance stated. Narrowed the insurance wording.

10 September 2026: replaced the reconstructed chart with the original supplied capture; distinguished deposit and allocation minimums; clarified the observed status of 24x and the amplified-account withdrawal rules.

Privacy and local storage

This guide does not ask for identity documents, payment details or trading credentials. Copy buttons place only the displayed token or ID on your clipboard when you press them. The optional setup checklist is stored in this browser on this device; use Reset checklist to clear it. Hosting providers may process ordinary access logs. Registration and support links open external services governed by their own privacy policies.

Fonts are served from this site rather than a font network, so loading a page makes no third-party request and no outside company receives your connection information because of the typography.

Analytics are switched off in this version: no measurement code loads and no analytics request is made. The site is built to support privacy-friendly, cookieless product analytics later — if that is ever switched on it would record which pages are opened, which links are pressed and which guide steps are expanded, and nothing you type. This paragraph will be updated before that happens, and the date on this page will change with it.
