Follow Sonic’s gold trades.
Know how to start.
Copy trading means linking your account to a trader’s strategy: when they open or close a position, the same trade opens in your account automatically — you don’t place trades yourself. This guide explains how that works with Sonic on CopyX, then walks you through the full setup, including the community-token step for 24x.
- 01Open and link the two accounts
- 02Verify your identity and fund
- 03Choose Sonic and enter the token
01How it works
You choose an amount.
The platform copies the trades.
Sonic is a strategy that trades gold against the US dollar. Instead of placing each trade yourself, you connect through CopyX and choose an amount to allocate.
You still take the gains and losses in your account. Copying does not make a strategy risk-free.
- SonicThe strategy makes the trading decisions.
- CopyXThe system mirrors new trades.
- Tag MarketsThe provider holds your trading account.
02The step most guides leave out
The 24x community-token step,
in the open.
Most guides stop at "register here." This is the part that is usually left out: the community token and GU/ID entered on the confirmation screen, before you press confirm.
What "24x" means
Additional trading capacity relative to your deposit. It is not 24 times the profit, and the extra capacity is not cash you can withdraw.
- Without token
- 10% drawdown limit
- With token (24x)
- 5% drawdown limit
03What the setup looks like
A clear path from account
to first connection.
You can read the guide before registering. It covers the account link, identity checks, strategy selection and community-token fields.

05The evidence, and its limits
Two accounts.
Yours will be a third.
The public record shows what the strategy's own account did. The phone shows what one follower account looked like. They are different accounts over different periods, and the gap between them is the thing worth understanding before you allocate anything.

- Master-account gain
- 29.06% Growth of the strategy’s own account over the tracked period — not a follower’s return, and gross of the performance fee.
- Reported drawdown
- 0.86% The deepest fall from a previous peak on that account. A past maximum, not a limit on what can happen next.
- Snapshot date
- 9 Sep 2026 One dated capture. The live record is public, so you can check it against ours whenever you like.

Read this with four things in mind
- These are Myfxbook’s own published figures, read off this account’s “Monthly Analytics” tab via screenshots retrieved on 17 September 2026 — our own automated check of that tab was blocked by Myfxbook’s bot challenge. Myfxbook also shows Sep 2026 at 0.53% so far — a month still in progress, not included above. View Myfxbook ↗
- They are base returns, before amplification and before the 30% performance fee. A month at 1.16% is not 1.16% in your pocket.
- The range is real: the best month is 1.78%, the weakest 0.55%, and three months in early 2026 sit under 0.85%. A guide that shows you only the average is hiding the shape.
- An average of past months is not a rate. No month in this series obliges the next one to resemble it.
07Before you start
A few questions
before you start.
- Is my money locked in?
- For amplified accounts, withdrawing the remaining original deposit requires a 30-day wait after the first trade and closes the account. Profit withdrawals follow separate rules. How withdrawals work.
- What does it cost me?
- The supplied Sonic strategy screen lists a 30% performance fee. Spreads and other provider charges are separate. Check the current fee basis and billing terms before confirming.
- What if Sonic loses?
- Your account bears its trading losses. Historical drawdown is not a loss limit or guarantee. Read the risk disclosure.
- Is this regulated?
- Tag Markets states it holds FSC Mauritius licence GB21026474. It is not EU-regulated, and EU investor-protection schemes do not apply.
